There is something very stable about this farm down the road from me. Its has been there for over 100 years I think. It just seems a little timeless. I was fascinated by the feeling the purple sky suggested to me when juxtaposed by the yellows. I have wonderful memories of winter, walking home from school or from ice skating as the sun set low in the sky. This little gem is painted on a gessoed panel 12"w X 12"h panel with archival oil.
