I sincerely wish to thank you for the opportunity to share my hopes and dreams for the individual and corporate growth of your art business at Griffin Fine Art Gallery.

Nothing gives me more joy than exposing  fine artists like you and myself to patrons.  As patrons they have the pleasure of owning fine artwork and we have the satisfaction of knowing that it is our artwork that they possess! It is a win win situation.

As you carefully consider the details of our arrangement and I gear up for our website, I will need some information from you and the gallery at various stages.  I have suggested a timeline so that there is some accountability for the promises I have made.
 Stage I  -                               ........ by end of first starting week in October
  • Opening the Website
  • Legal name of gallery
  • Authorized representative
  • Any current branding or logo
  • Your mission statement
  • Gallery contact info- current phone number, address, email etc
  • General Gallery Activities and Opportunities  with listing of hours and  with guidelines for  artist submissions.
  • Brief Gallery History - Gallery Past Events  Highlights
  • Gallery Upcoming Events List for 2008-09 season
  • Next Upcoming Gallery Event info - detail
  • Upcoming Featured Artists - detail
  • Any pictures in jpeg format that detail any of the above items like  "picture of gallery", photos of past events,


Stage 2 - General Artists portfolio of work        .... by end of second starting week in October
  • Give me selective Jpegs of artists work:      
  • If you have a cataloging number system for works in the gallery  determine together how you want to uniformly identify   the jpg images for me.
  • Some possibilities may be
  • Catalog #_F Reinke_ Title of Artwork_ year of creation.jpg
  • example: 321_F Reinke_Sunrise_08.jpg
  • Catalog #_F Reinke_ Title of Artwork_ year of creation_media_size.jpg

  • Also I would like a  list of the artwork with these descriptive headers:
  Catalog #  Artist  Title of Artwork  Creation Date  Medium   Size  Subject  Style Special Comments

  Sunrise  2008  Oil 16"h x 24" w   landscape impressionism   wrapped canvas, for frame contact gallery
            Subject -  (landscape, seascape, portrait, figures, still life other ???)

Stage 3 - Lets write a newsletter and announce the Nov- Dec exhibit.... by end of second starting week in October


Stage 4 - Set up Seperate Artist Portfolios  ....by end of November
  • Each artist brief bio
  • Selected Representative Image of artists in jpeg  according to format
  • Any links to current artist website or blog
  • No more than ten of your very best images at first, up to 19 later.


Stage 5 - Lets Write a blog  .....in December


Stage 6 - Let every one know about what the griffin galleryis doing in 2009 like Mid-summer brush      ...by mid January


Stage 7 - Lets start an online art competition, or a online membership to Griffin Gallery Fine Art           ....in mid winter


Stage 8  - Lets Start contacting interior designers in earnest      ....in mid winter

I am excited about the potential of our partnership at the Griffin Gallery.  I know each of you bring unique gifts, experiences and perspectives to the cooperative gallery.  As we can grow together, I am looking forward to learning from each of you.
